Did you know it?Card 2: Double solid yellow center lines are painted on the road. When may you legally cross them?
- To turn left into or out of a driveway
- To pass a slow truck on a straight road
- When the car ahead is going under the limit

Did you know it?Card 5: A lane control signal above your lane shows a flashing yellow X. What does it mean?
- The lane is closed to all traffic
- Use the lane only to turn left
- Use the lane at any reduced speed
- Use the lane only for passing
Answer: Use the lane only to turn left. A steady yellow X means move out of the lane because it will soon carry opposing traffic. When the yellow X flashes, you may use the lane only to prepare for a left turn.
